Rattan is a raw material that is obtained from palm vines found in the tropical zone of Asia.

Rattan decorations look particularly good in interiors in Scandinavian, boho, rustic or ecological styles. This natural material has a neutral charm, harmonizing with arrangements dominated by light and delicate colors.

The rattan from which the Azure Baskets are made grows at a surprisingly fast pace on trees to climb as quickly as possible to the sunlight. The speed at which rattan grows allows it to be cut down much more often than trees, which need decades to do so. This reduces our impact on the natural ecosystem and tree felling and is therefore an alternative for ECO lovers.
